Who We Are

Central Victorian House Inspection Service is part of a family operated business GW & JA Whitfort, Part of the Bendigo and Central Victorian building industry since 1974.

Central Victorian House Inspection & Building Consultant Service was started in 1986 after several local real estate agents requested Garry Whitfort to inspect the structures of dwellings for their buyers. This was the beginning of Bendigo's first professional pre purchase house inspection business, which now in into its 32nd year of service.

"Buying a house is a huge investment for any buyer and a building inspection, with written report from an experienced and qualified person can help give the purchaser the peace of mind that their investment will be a good one," Garry Said.

"The inspections are only carried our by either myself or my son Paul, who between us have 80 years of experience in the building industry. This allows us to see areas that may not be noticed during a general walkthrough inspection by a purchaser.
